Student Life

Students make memories on campus that will last forever. Whether it's a dormitory, a welcome center, a dining hall, or a classroom building, the spaces students inhabit should reflect the energy and effort your institution invests to deliver a quality educational experience.

We understand that today's students expect flexible spaces that can transition seamlessly from study to socializing, from individual focus to group engagement. Our designs create dynamic environments that create connection while providing the quiet spaces necessary for reflection and academic success.

Residences

Residential spaces are more than just buildings - they're the backdrop to daily life, where communities grow and individuals flourish. From single-family homes to multi-unit developments, these environments must thoughtfully balance privacy with connection, comfort with functionality, and individual expression with neighborhood cohesion. Creating spaces that people call home requires deep understanding of how residents live, work, and interact.

By focusing on both the practical and emotional aspects of home, we create environments that support daily life while fostering a sense of belonging. Our residential solutions prioritize natural light, thoughtful flow between spaces, and connection to the outdoors - all while maintaining the highest standards of construction quality and energy efficiency.

Land Ports Of Entry

Public buildings that represent our democracy are required to embrace the increasingly contradictory demands of being both welcoming and secure. This contradiction has been one of the greatest sources of architectural invention, as we work closely with key stakeholders to integrate constantly evolving security requirements and technologies into the building and site design.

Public buildings have symbolic content that sets them apart from private and institutional structures. They represent our society’s enduring values and reflect the importance of civic institutions while communicating respect for the individuals and communities they serve. Using dramatic means and subtle distinction, we convey this symbolism through a building’s visual strength and its respect for the scale, comfort, and orientation of the individual.
